Abstract: |
Through the analysis of oxygen evolution curve and oxygen evolution kinetic parameters of PbO2 electrode on stainless steel substrate prepared by different temperature and different current density, the effect of temperature and current density on the energy saving property and catalytic activity of PbO2 electrode was studied. The results show that when the temperature is 80℃, current density is 30 mA/cm2, the electrode have a stable composition and good reproducibility, the cell voltage is decreased and have a good electro-catalytic activity; The mainly products are β-PbO2 at low current density and there are partial products are α-PbO2 at high current density; The energy saving property and catalytic activity are highly improved compared with the traditional Pb-Ag alloy anode. |
