Abstract: |
Nanostructured and conventional high chromium content nickel based alloy coatings were prepared by AC-HVAF technique. The corrosion kinetics of two coatings and 20G steel were studied at 550℃ and 650℃ . The morphologies and compositions of corrosion products were determined by SEM and XRD. The experimental results indicate that two coatings develop a continuous and compact Cr203 layer, which can further restrain the corrosion process effectively. Under the same corrosion conditions, nanostructured coatings have lower corrosion weight gains and better corrosion resistance than conventional coatings. |
