Abstract:
Bamboo fibre was metallized by electroless copper plating and electroless nickel plating to prepare a new type light microwave interference material. The 8mm microwave attenuation capability of metallized bamboo fibre was tested and the result shows that the attenuation decibel of 20mg copper plating sample reaches 17. SdB and 30mg nickel plating sample reaches 24. 2dB. The plating technology has effect on attenuation capability of sample. The attenuation decibel of same sample increases with its dosage. The test result indicates that metallized bamboo fibre is a new type hopeful microwave interference material.
