Abstract:
      In order to study the mechanism of electrodepositing Zn-Ni alloy coatings , the curve of cathodic polarization of electrodepositing Zn-Ni alloy coatings was determined by changing potential in the system of three electrodes, and the influence of concentration of additive on the cathodic polarization was studied. The results show that the optimum addition of DZN additive is 15 mL/L. Zn-Ni alloy coatings-codeposition belongs to abnormal codeposition when the current density is between 0. 32A/dm2 and 20A/dm2. The effect of combination of additive is better than single addition , as a result of satisfactory selective adsorption of DZN additive.
