| Abstract: |
| In order to prepare Ag-coated flake graphite used as filler of conductive adhesive or poles of the battery, the electroless plating procedure was investigated that plated the silver directly in alkaline solution without activation or sensitize treatment. The effects of some process parameters such as pre-treatment, before electroless plating, the temperature of the solution and the addition of the solvent were studied. The results from experiment show that the conductivity of the Ag-coated flake graphite is increased by 416 0-10 against that from un-coated graphite under the condition of the ratio of solvent over graphite taken as 150-/o and plating at 600C . And it is also supported with the analysis of the images from scanning electron microscopy ( SEM) . |
