Abstract: |
With the development of aero turbine engines technology , it requires that ceramics for thermal barrier coatings have lower thermal conductivity and higher phase stability. Because of the extending use of oxides ceramic materials on thermal barrier coatings, the research status of oxides ceramics materials such as rare-earth oxides coatings, lanthanum-aluminum oxides and 2r02 doped with oxides ( one type, two types and multitype) were summarized. It is pointed that future research should aim at the following aspects which include enhancing the phase stability at high temperature of rare earth oxides by appropriate methods, improving thermo-physical properties of lanthanum-aluminum oxides and doping the 2r02-based ceramic materials for thermal barrier coatings with appropriate oxides in order to improve the thermophysical properties. |
